ABOUT US

The Chautauqua County Animal Shelter is a no-kill shelter that serves all of Chautauqua County, Kansas.  Our mission is to rescue homeless dogs and cats and adopt them into loving, responsible forever homes.  

We operate solely on donations and any donation is tax deductible as we are a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.  We rely on our volunteer staff to serve the needs of homeless animals in our community.

We cannot do what we do any of this without the amazing and dedicated community of donors, members and volunteers!   Anyone can help us in our journey.
